NOTICE FOR SPRING 2010
Posted 1-31-2010 I am thruhiking the AT again this year starting Feb. 13th. My lovely and supportive wife will be taking over the Packa shipping duties while I am hiking. She will be monitoring the Packa email account and taking orders. My preferred payment method will now be paypal, but checks and money orders will still be gladly accepted. If you have questions and need to talk with me, my responses to emails and phone calls will likely be delayed until I have access. I am expecting a new order in mid Feb. that will include some significant improvements. The front zipper will be dual separating, which means you can unzip it from the top or bottom. In addition to the current size (medium), I will have 2 new sizes; an Xlarge and a Small. The Xlarge size has a bigger packcover, but I'm not sure on the how big it is going to be yet. The Xlarge also has longer sleeves by about 2 inches. The jacket part for the Medium and the Xlarge is the same. The only differences are in sleeve length and packcover size. The Small size will have have the same packcover size as the medium, but the jacket will be smaller in jacket girth, bottom length and sleeve length all by about 1-2 inches. I will update this page and my website when I receive the order and know more. Thanks, Cedar Tree AT2K10 Posted 2-11-2010 The new shipment is scheduled to be delivered Friday, Feb 12th. The same day I am leaving for Georgia. With all the snow we've gotten here in Virginia, I really doubt they will actually be delivered to my house within the next week or so. I am planning to come home at Franklin, NC to take care of all Packas ordered between now and probably around Feb. 25th. After that, hopefully my wife will handle shipping. Thanks, Cedar Tree AT2K10 Posted 3-2-2010 The new shipment finally arrive Feb. 23rd. The Packa had its biggest month ever with 25 sales. I got off the trail on Feb. 20th at Unicoi Gap. I hope to get back on for a few section hikes around my home in Marion later this week. I plan to resume my hike at Newfound Gap when the weather clears. Cedar Tree |
